Altcoins Ready For Round Two? CryptoQuant CEO Says Altseason Already Begun
Investors are divided on the potential for an Altseason, with some affirming that Altcoins are poised for a breakout. CryptoQuant's CEO, Ki Young Ju, stated that the Altseason has begun but noted that there will not be a direct Bitcoin-to-altcoin rotation. He emphasized that Bitcoin's dominance no longer dictates altcoin movements, as trading volume now defines the season, with Altcoins currently having 2.7 times the volume of Bitcoin. Ju described this altseason as selective, with only a few Altcoins expected to thrive due to a lack of fresh liquidity. Trader Crypto Yoddha indicated that Altcoins are ready for another surge, following a pattern similar to the 2020-2021 cycle. Analyst Rekt Capital noted that Altcoins must close above $280 billion to confirm a breakout, while Carl Runefelt highlighted a recent parabolic move after breaking out of a descending channel, with a target to reclaim the $300 billion resistance.
