Animoca-Backed Moca Chain Launches for Decentralized Identity Solutions
Moca Foundation has launched Moca Chain, a layer-1 blockchain designed for privacy-preserving identity and data authentication. The blockchain focuses on identity management, enabling individuals, devices, and AI agents to verify credentials without centralized providers. The testnet is set for Q3 2025, with the mainnet expected in Q4 2025. Moca Chain will support onchain and offchain data verification across various applications, utilizing the MOCA token for transaction fees and other services. The blockchain features decentralized data storage, a crosschain identity oracle, and zero-knowledge transport layer security (ZK-TLS). It is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) for interoperability. Moca Network's AIR Kit is integrated with partners, reaching over 700 million users, including South Korean loyalty program OK Cashbag and German media company One Football.
