Another Trump memecoin dinner advertised for token's top investors
Donald Trump’s $TRUMP memecoin organization will invite its 185 top registered investors to a November 22 dinner at his Washington, D.C., club. VIP rankings, based on token engagement, will be finalized November 12. The event promises Trump and three unnamed guests, but says attendees will not receive private meet-and-greets. The announcement briefly lifted the token’s price about 10% to $2.25 before it retreated; that remains far below its roughly $74 peak. Previous token-holder events drew criticism from Democratic lawmakers, who called them a corrupt use of the presidency. Concerns about Trump’s crypto interests also featured in debate over a Senate crypto market-structure bill, which failed to advance after lawmakers could not agree on limits for senior officials’ digital-asset ties.
