Arthur Hayes Bets $100K On Hyperliquid, Says HYPE Will Beat Solana By Year‑End
Arthur Hayes remains strongly bullish on Hyperliquid (HYPE), placing a $100,000 charity bet that HYPE will outperform any other current top-10 crypto in USD terms through year-end. Kyle Samani accepted, choosing Solana as the rival. Hayes has said HYPE should at least overtake SOL before the bull run ends and has previously projected a move to $150 by August 2026. HYPE has already surged sharply, entering the top 10 after outperforming Dogecoin and hitting repeated all-time highs. The token recently broke above key resistance levels, reached $74.18, and continues in price discovery. A recent bearish call from analyst Ali Martinez was invalidated by the rally, and he now sees upside targets of $97 and even $163 if momentum holds. HYPE is trading around $71.8, up about 16.8% on the week.
