Bitcoin And Ethereum ETFs Add $492M As Inflow Streak Continues
US spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs saw $492 million in net inflows on Aug. 21, extending a five-day streak of positive flows for both groups. Bitcoin ETFs led with $307 million, driven by BlackRock’s IBIT at $239.3 million, while Ethereum ETFs added $185 million, led by BlackRock’s ETHA at $151 million. Weekly inflows totaled $1.92 billion for Bitcoin ETFs and $697 million for Ethereum ETFs. The data signals strong regulated investor demand and shows traditional-market capital continuing to use ETF channels for crypto exposure. BlackRock remains the dominant provider in both categories, benefiting from scale and liquidity. The main caveat is that these figures are daily and weekly net flows, not cumulative assets under management. The key question is whether inflows continue if volatility rises, especially for Ethereum, which is now attracting meaningful interest alongside Bitcoin.
