Bitcoin Reclaims Center Stage With $880 Million In Inflows
Crypto funds attracted over $880 million in inflows last week, marking the fourth consecutive week of positive movement and bringing year-to-date inflows to $6.7 billion. Bitcoin funds dominated with $867 million, primarily into US-listed ETFs, which have amassed nearly $63 billion since January 2024, surpassing their previous all-time high. Ethereum products saw minimal inflows of $1.5 million. Smaller coins like Sui gained attention, attracting $11.7 million, while XRP recorded $1.4 million in weekly inflows. The US led regional inflows with $840 million, while Sweden, Hong Kong, and Canada experienced outflows. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin ETF was the top performer, contributing over $1 billion in inflows. The overall trend reflects a shift towards crypto as a hedge against economic uncertainties and inflation.
