Bitcoin Registers Fourth-Best Day of 2024 as BlackRock ETF Posts Record Volume

This rally was supported by significant inflows into spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), totaling $621.9 million, ending a three-day outflow streak. Total net inflows for bitcoin ETFs reached $24.2 billion. Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust saw $108.8 million in inflows, while Bitwise Bitcoin ETF recorded $100.9 million. Conversely, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust experienced $113.3 million in outflows. Overall ETF trading volume hit a record $4.1 billion for IBIT, with the group of bitcoin ETFs achieving their best day since early launches at $6 billion. Bitcoin is up 77% year-to-date, while ether (ETH) has seen only 20% growth, with net inflows into ether ETFs at $52.3 million.
