Bitcoiners say Elon Musk should buy Bitcoin to win Trump feud
The Bitcoin community is urging Elon Musk to invest heavily in Bitcoin to counter his feud with Donald Trump. Crypto trader Will Clemente suggested Musk should "full port" Bitcoin, while Samson Mow called for Tesla to accept Bitcoin payments and adopt a Bitcoin treasury strategy. Tesla previously halted Bitcoin payments due to environmental concerns but still holds digital assets, which decreased in value by 11.61% in Q1. Mow proposed that SpaceX offer discounts for Bitcoin payments and emphasized the need for the US to acquire Bitcoin to avoid being outpaced by other nations. The feud intensified after Musk criticized Trump’s tax bill and tariffs, leading to mutual insults on social media. Trump claimed that ending Musk's government subsidies could save the US billions. Musk has indicated ongoing interest in cryptocurrency, recently announcing a new feature on his platform X with "Bitcoin-style encryption."
