Bitget Launches Stock+ For Buying Real US Stocks With Crypto
Bitget launched Stock+, a feature that lets eligible users buy real US stocks and ETFs using USDC and other digital assets. The product uses crypto balances as the funding layer while providing direct exposure to traditional securities, not just tokenized or synthetic versions. The launch fits Bitget’s Universal Exchange strategy, which aims to combine crypto trading, tokenized assets, and traditional market products in one platform. It also reflects a broader industry trend: exchanges are trying to become multi-asset venues where users can move between stablecoins, crypto, equities, and tokenized securities without leaving the ecosystem. The main limitation is access. Stock+ depends on licensing, brokerage partnerships, and jurisdiction rules, so availability will be restricted in some regions. Still, the move shows how crypto platforms are increasingly trying to bridge digital asset liquidity with traditional market exposure.
