Brave adds Cardano support
Brave Browser has integrated the Cardano blockchain into its wallets through a partnership with Input Output. This integration allows users to access Cardano's blockchain and manage tokens directly within the Brave Wallet, enhancing multi-chain access, security, and user experience. Brave previously supported Ethereum and Solana and aims to maximize user choice in decentralized ecosystems. The partnership also highlights potential innovations related to Cardano's governance and the Midnight sidechain, which focuses on privacy and confidential smart contracts. Input Output's CEO suggested that Cardano could enable free transactions for NFT ticket holders, allowing a Web2-like model without requiring tokens. Future developments are anticipated from this collaboration, including tools for deploying custom-built sidechains.
