Coinbase, Google, and ai16z members back new DAO to accelerate crypto and AI
Aiccelerate, a new Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), has been launched by members from Coinbase, Google, ai16z, and others to accelerate the integration of crypto and artificial intelligence (AI). The DAO will focus on decentralized, open-source AI development and support high-potential projects across various ecosystems. Aiccelerate aims to drive innovation in "agentic AI," which involves software that interacts with environments to achieve goals. The organization will operate under a single token, AICC, and plans to use profits for token buybacks. Development advisors include notable figures from ElizaOS, Virtuals Protocol, and EigenLayer, while investment advisors come from Mechanism Capital and Coinbase Ventures. Aiccelerate seeks to address inefficiencies in traditional venture capital by providing funding and networking for emerging projects. Its first initiative will be a public utility research agent to aid decision-making in the crypto and AI sectors.
