Crypto Exchange Kraken Paid Dave Portnoy Bitcoin in Sponsorship Deal

Dave Portnoy, the chief of Barstool Sports, has accepted a significant portion of his sponsorship deal with crypto exchange Kraken in bitcoin (BTC). Although he has previously experienced losses in the bitcoin market and considers the current price too high for buying, Portnoy is open to receiving bitcoin as payment. He first did so in February when Kraken began sponsoring his livestream, "Davey Day Trader Global". Portnoy also predicts that bitcoin's value will surge if pro-bitcoin Republican Donald Trump wins the U.S. presidential election.
