Crypto Policy Didn't Occupy the Spotlight in Elections in Austria, Georgia
Political leaders in Austria and Georgia did not prioritize crypto policy in their recent elections. Austria's election saw the far-right Freedom Party win 29.2% of the vote, focusing on immigration and cost of living, while the ruling People’s Party received 26.5%. The Austrian President has tasked Chancellor Karl Nehammer with forming a new government. Austria is part of the EU, which is implementing the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) legislation, effective December.
