Crypto set for ‘dozens of smaller victories’ in 2025: Grayscale exec
The crypto industry anticipates numerous smaller victories in 2025, following significant achievements like spot crypto exchange-traded funds and Donald Trump's election win. Grayscale's managing director of research, Zach Pandl, predicts increased institutional adoption, comprehensive legislation, and the possibility of Bitcoin becoming a US reserve asset. Many pension and endowment funds are beginning to include crypto in their portfolios, with some expected approvals within 6 to 12 months. Portfolio managers are tentatively allocating up to 5% in crypto. Pandl also highlights the potential for institutional adoption of Ethereum and interest in decentralized finance, real-world assets, and AI tokens. Trump's upcoming administration is expected to be highly supportive of crypto initiatives.
