Crypto to accelerate AI adoption — LONGITUDE panel
Cryptocurrency can enhance artificial intelligence (AI) adoption by facilitating user onboarding for AI startups, according to Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal. He emphasized the potential of on-chain incentive structures to attract developers and improve AI projects. Illia Polosukhin, co-founder of Near Protocol, predicted that crypto-native AI agents could replace traditional web applications as the main user interfaces for Web3. Nailwal warned of the proliferation of AI-related token scams, noting that most projects lack genuine AI development. J.D. Seraphine from Raiinmaker highlighted the anticipated rise of over 1 million AI agents by 2025, particularly in decentralized finance. Both Nailwal and Polosukhin stressed the importance of peer-to-peer AI solutions to ensure privacy and prevent centralization in the digital economy.
