Crypto VC Funding Hits $10B in Q2 2025, Highest Since 2022

Coinbase Ventures was the most active investor with 25 deals, followed by Pantera Capital and Galaxy. Fundraising spanned various sectors, with blockchain infrastructure and DeFi attracting significant interest. Seed-stage deals represented 19.43% of total fundraising, while strategic rounds made up 14.23%. Galaxy Digital raised $175 million for its first external fund, focusing on high-growth crypto sectors. Theta Capital Management also raised over $175 million for early-stage blockchain startups.
