Dogecoin Funded SpaceX ‘Doge-1’ Moon Mission Gets a Step Closer to Launch

A moon mission funded by Dogecoin (DOGE) has been granted approval from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), moving closer to receiving a final license from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Developed by Geometric Energy Corporation, the DOGE-1 satellite is to be launched via a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and will broadcast advertisements, images and logos back to Earth. The launch, previously slated for 2022, has been postponed to January 2024.
