Ethereum’s Average Staker Revenue Drops Sharply As Network Activity Declines
Ethereum's average staker revenue has sharply declined, reaching a six-month low of approximately $5.44 million, indicating decreased user engagement and network activity. This drop in staking returns is attributed to lower transaction volumes and a broader market downturn. Transaction fees have also fallen, further impacting staker earnings. Ethereum's futures market funding rates have hit new lows, reflecting a persistent bearish trend, with traders showing caution and a widening gap between long and short positions. Despite these challenges, Ethereum's price has seen a slight increase to $2,326, recovering from a drop to $2,300 after facing resistance at $2,388. However, ETH has declined over 0.50% weekly and 11.14% monthly, although market cap and trading volume have shown slight increases.
