Fortnite doubles down on crypto joke with another secret ‘Dill Bits’ location
Fortnite has introduced a new secret “Dill Bits” server mine location in its latest map update, resembling a cryptocurrency mining operation. Players can collect Dill Bits by destroying the equipment at this location. The Solana-based memecoin, inspired by Fortnite's in-game currency, surged 200% to $0.0005 on April 4 following this update. Dill Bits were introduced as an in-game currency in February, intended for purchasing items within the game. The memecoin previously experienced significant price increases, including a 4,500% surge at launch and a 4,000% spike after a promotional video for a storyline. The new mining server is located on the island Oninoshima near Outlaw Oasis and features banks of servers with the Dill Bit logo. Dill Bits can be spent at three Black Markets in the game for Mythic and Legendary items.
