Kraken Named Official Crypto Exchange of FIFA World Cup 2026
Kraken has become FIFA’s Official Crypto Exchange Supporter for the 2026 World Cup, a seven-week tournament running June 11 to July 19 across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal is aimed at major global exposure, as the tournament is expected to draw more than 6 billion viewers and feature 48 teams and 104 matches. Kraken said it will launch World Cup-related fan experiences and a countdown concert starting Wednesday, while FIFA said the partnership aligns with its focus on innovation and fan engagement. The sponsorship expands Kraken’s sports marketing footprint, which already includes partnerships with Tottenham Hotspur, Atlético de Madrid, RB Leipzig, and Williams Racing. The announcement comes as authorities warn fans about crypto scams tied to World Cup tickets and merchandise.
