Kraken to overhaul app with AI investing assistant
Kraken is adding AI-powered financial tools to its mobile app to compete with exchanges offering personalized investing features. Users will set goals and preferences, such as saving for retirement or buying a home, and the app will tailor its interface, portfolio suggestions, and updates to those aims. Kraken’s “financial intelligence” monitors markets, flags opportunities, and recommends trades, but it does not execute them automatically; users must approve every trade. The system also uses risk tolerance, funding preferences, and financial profile data to suggest portfolios and ongoing adjustments. Kraken says the goal is to give everyday investors market awareness closer to that of active traders, using plain-English guidance. The move fits a broader trend: OKX, Coinbase, and Revolut have also introduced AI tools for market analysis, strategy testing, and trade execution with user approval.
