Law firm says it’s pursuing potential legal action against Pump.fun
Burwick Law is initiating legal action for investors who lost money due to the Solana memecoin launchpad Pump.fun. The firm has been working with affected individuals for months, citing significant financial losses linked to memecoins and scams on the platform. Pump.fun reportedly collected hundreds of millions in fees while hosting content related to illicit activities and antisocial behavior. Burwick criticized the anonymous creators of Pump.fun and others involved in exploiting investors with false promises. The platform allows users to create memecoins without technical skills, but only 0.4% of 14 million wallets profited over $10,000. The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority banned access to Pump.fun in December to combat scams. Burwick is also pursuing legal action for losses related to Moonbirds, Proof Collective NFTs, and Full Send Metacard NFTs.
