Microsoft-backed Space and Time mainnet launches with major builders

Summary

Space and Time, a blockchain project backed by Microsoft, has launched its public, permissionless mainnet to provide zero-knowledge (ZK)-proven data infrastructure for crypto applications. Developed by MakeInfinite Labs, the platform offers a decentralized, verifiable database for smart contracts to access historical, crosschain, and offchain data. It indexes data from major networks like Ethereum, accessible through a decentralized validator network. Developers can utilize Space and Time’s Proof of SQL, a ZK coprocessor that generates cryptographic proofs with each query. Prominent financial institutions and major cloud providers, including Microsoft Azure and Google BigQuery, are integrating or building within the Space and Time ecosystem. The native utility token, SXT, is set to launch on May 8. The mainnet encourages community participation as validators and delegated stakers, with over 30 validators already active globally. MakeInfinite Labs previously raised funds led by Microsoft and has contributed to other crypto projects.
