Myriad, a prediction market platform owned by Dastan, has closed its seed investment round with backing from institutional investors such as MoonPay, Walrus, and Fundstrat’s Tom Lee, along with Verda Ventures, Auros, and others. Notable individuals joining include Seedphrase, Blondish, and Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz. Previous investors ConsenSys, HashKey Capital, IOSG Ventures, and Hack VC were also highlighted. The capital will be used to accelerate product development, liquidity, and market expansion, with Myriad leadership describing the raise as a significant endorsement of their vision. Recent developments include the successful launch of Season 3, transitioning event contracts to BNB Chain, adopting World Liberty Financial’s USD1 stablecoin for settlements, and switching from an AMM to a Central Limit Order Book model. These upgrades introduced features such as slippage controls and dynamic fees, and saw the rollout of Myriad Wallet with MoonPay integration for faster deposits. The new funding aims to further scale and enhance the Myriad platform.
