Proposal went live: How batching could transform Tron

Summary

Transaction fees are a significant issue for organizations conducting large or frequent cryptocurrency transfers. Transaction batching groups multiple transfers into a single onchain transaction, reducing fees and improving scalability. Boosty Labs has submitted a proposal to the CTDG Dev Hub to bring native batching to the Tron blockchain. Unlike traditional layer-2 solutions that use separate blockchains or bridges, this proposal anchors batching directly to Tron’s mainnet. The system targets high-volume users, automatically identifying them via smart contracts and offering pricing options based on transfer urgency. This upgrade is particularly important for Tron, which hosts over half of global USDT supply and is widely used by exchanges and payment processors. Native batching could cut transaction fees to as low as 0.05 TRX per recipient, reduce congestion, and make Tron more attractive for enterprise applications. The proposal is currently under community review on the CTDG Dev Hub, which functions as an open workspace for ecosystem improvements. If approved, phased rollout will focus on stablecoin operations and collaborative development.
