Raydium Debuts Solana Token Launchpad Following Split From Pump.fun

Summary

Raydium has launched its native token launchpad, LaunchLab, to compete with Pump.fun, which recently established its own decentralized exchange. LaunchLab provides a sophisticated token creation process, allowing deployers to customize token supply, bonding curves, and liquidity migration to Raydium’s automated market maker. It also includes token vesting and migration fee sharing options. In contrast, Pump.fun offers limited aesthetic customization without tokenomic flexibility. Raydium's team plans to expand LaunchLab into a broader suite and is collaborating with around 10 external developers to create apps using its infrastructure. Following the launch announcement, Raydium's RAY token increased nearly 9%, reaching a market cap of $661 million. Both platforms now offer token launchpad and DEX solutions, each with distinct approaches.
