Solana Mobile reveals trustless architecture, token for Seeker device
Solana Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, will begin shipping its Seeker device on August 4, 2024. The Seeker is the second-generation device following the Saga Web3 phone, which launched in April 2023 and has pre-sold 150,000 units. The Seeker has undergone two sale phases: the Founder window at $450 and the Early Adopter window at $500, potentially generating at least $67.5 million in gross revenue. The new TEEPIN architecture will govern future devices, providing a trustless environment through a three-layer system. Solana Mobile plans to launch "SKR," a native asset that offers stakeholders ownership in the platform. The Saga phone initially faced mixed reactions but gained popularity in late 2023 due to rising memecoin values, leading to its sellout by December 2023.
