Strive Seeks $4.2 Billion ATM Expansion To Fund More Bitcoin Purchases

Summary

Strive plans to expand its capital-raising capacity by $4.2 billion, increasing both its ASST and SATA at-the-market programs by $2.1 billion each. The move would give the Bitcoin treasury company more flexibility to issue securities and use proceeds for additional BTC purchases, though the full amount may not be raised immediately. CEO Matt Cole said the expansion reflects stronger liquidity and demand for both securities. The announcement follows a roughly $194 million SATA preferred-stock raise last week, equal to about 2,621 BTC at current prices. Strive currently holds about 16,500 BTC, worth roughly $1.27 billion, ranking it seventh among public corporate Bitcoin holders. SATA has become Strive’s main financing tool. The preferred stock launched in November 2025 and was marketed as a way to fund Bitcoin accumulation through perpetual preferred equity. Strive also plans to shift SATA dividend payments to daily frequency beginning June 16, 2026. BTC was trading near $69,894 at press time.
