Switching from Cryptomus to Heleket leaves the same UK sanctions target
The UK designated Xeltox Enterprises Ltd. on Oct. 8, 2026, listing Cryptomus, Heleket and Certa Payments as names linked to the company. Measures include asset freezes and restrictions on banking, payment processing, trust services and online access. UK sanctions can also apply to entities controlled by Xeltox, and transfers of customer funds may require a relevant exception or license. Switching payment brands does not by itself establish that funds can lawfully be withdrawn or processed. Separately, blockchain tracing found that funds from TokenSpot, Grinex and Meer converged on an HTX deposit address that received more than $308 million; the report did not establish a connection to Cryptomus or Heleket. Xeltox had also faced a Canadian C$176.96 million penalty in 2025, which it appealed.
