Three Decentralized Platforms to Merge AI Tokens, Create AI Alliance

Summary

Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol are merging their tokens to form an alliance for decentralized artificial intelligence (AI). The AI collective aims to provide a decentralized alternative to projects controlled by large tech companies. Fetch.ai's native token (FET) will become ASI, or "artificial superintelligence", with a total supply of about 2.63 billion tokens and a starting price of $2.82. SingularityNET's (AGIX) and Ocean Protocol's (OCEAN) native tokens will also merge into ASI at conversion rates of around 0.433 to 1. The combined entity plans to create an open decentralized AI infrastructure at scale, offering transparency and shared data between contributors. This move comes amid concerns that large companies like Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, and Meta could dominate the AI space.
