Blue Origin announced that Tron founder Justin Sun will join the crew of its upcoming 34th mission aboard the New Shepard rocket. Sun previously bid $28 million for the first seat in 2021. Although he was expected to select five crew members from the TRON DAO community, a spokesperson clarified he did not choose them. The crew includes a real estate investor, a businessman, a journalist, and a venture capitalist. The mission is anticipated to launch in weeks, following an all-women crew mission in April. Sun has been involved in various investments related to former President Donald Trump, including a $75 million investment in the Trump family’s crypto business and purchasing significant amounts of the memecoin Official Trump. He faces a lawsuit from the SEC over alleged manipulative trading but has sought to stay the case. Sun's current net worth is estimated at $8.5 billion.
