Trump's World Liberty Financial scores another partnership
World Liberty Financial (WLFI) has partnered with London hedge fund Re7 to launch a USD1 stablecoin vault on Euler Finance and liquid staking protocol Lista, aiming to enhance the stablecoin's presence on the BNB Chain. Lista, backed by Binance Labs, received a $10 million investment in August 2023 to support its transition to a liquid staking provider. WLFI is focused on US dollar stablecoins and real-world asset tokenization, which are seen as crucial for increasing the salability of the US dollar. In April, DWF Labs invested $25 million in WLFI tokens and will provide liquidity for the stablecoin. Aqua1 Foundation announced a $100 million investment in WLFI, emphasizing its potential to reshape global finance. Donald Trump reported $57 million in income from WLFI, primarily from token sales, but the Trump family has reduced its stake in WLFI by 20% since 2024.
