Twitch Streamers Compete To Win Bitcoin
The House of Streams, a Netflix series for the UK and Ireland, will feature eight online streamers competing for one Bitcoin, valued over $104,000. The show premieres on June 18 and includes contestants with a total of four million followers. The Malta Film Commission produced the series, which aims to offer a unique prize beyond cash or vacations. A warning was issued regarding fraudulent memecoins linked to the show, emphasizing support only for Bitcoin. Netflix has previously produced crypto-related content, including documentaries about crypto scandals. Some streamers have faced security threats due to their crypto holdings, exemplified by an attack on streamer Kaitlyn Siragusa, who reported a home invasion related to her significant Bitcoin assets.
