Ubisoft taps Immutable to launch Web3 card game ‘Might & Magic: Fates’
Ubisoft has partnered with Immutable to launch Might & Magic: Fates, a blockchain-powered strategy card game in the Might & Magic universe. The game combines classic strategic gameplay with blockchain technology, allowing players digital ownership through Immutable’s Web3 infrastructure. It will be available on iOS and Android, featuring new mechanics, faction-based strategies, and a variety of legendary heroes and creatures. Players can collect, trade, and customize decks with hundreds of cards, advancing through gameplay without hard progression barriers. Marketplaces will allow players to speed up progression or acquire specific cards. Immutable will provide the blockchain backbone for the project, known for other titles like Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians. Ubisoft has previously integrated crypto elements into its games, including Champions Tactics: Grimoria and Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E.
