Uniswap Opens TJAR Fee Conversion Beyond Protocol as Robinhood Joins
Uniswap Labs introduced TJAR on October 29, a reusable system that lets applications collect fees in multiple tokens and have searchers compete to convert them into a chosen payout token. Uniswap said its existing protocol-fee system processed more than $15.3 million in conversions during the prior month; Robinhood uses TJAR to receive fees in USDC and USDG on supported chains. Operators can set conversion thresholds and destinations, but execution costs, liquidity, pricing risks and settlement reliability remain relevant. The announcement does not establish that TJAR is the cheapest route or that adoption creates value for any related token. Wider use, conversion performance and transparent reporting will help show whether the system delivers durable benefits.
