USDT on TRON Becomes Most Used Onchain Payment Option on CoinsBee as Stablecoin Spending Grows
CoinsBee payment data shows USDT (TRC-20) on TRON has become the platform’s most-used onchain payment option. In the 90 days ending September 1, 2026, it recorded about 1.8 times as many payments as Bitcoin and 1.9 times as many as Ethereum. Its share of all CoinsBee payments rose from 9.92% in 2025 to 16.23% in 2026 to date, a 64% increase. TRON also accounted for a large portion of USDT activity: 44.6% of USDT payments and 64.5% of USDT turnover over the same period, suggesting higher average purchase values on TRON than on other USDT networks. Popular U.S. purchases included Amazon, Apple, AT&T, PlayStation, Uber, Macy’s, T-Mobile, Walmart, Sephora, and DoorDash. CoinsBee and TRON DAO are launching a limited campaign offering a 2% discount for eligible app users paying with USDT on TRON.
