Zano rolls back a month of transactions as team plans to use personal funds for recovery
Zano plans to fund recovery from its developer fund, team members’ personal funds and committed contributors after an emergency rollback erased about a month of transactions from the recovered chain. The rollback followed a Gateway Address vulnerability that allowed unauthorized ZANO and fUSD into circulation. The team says the network is stable, supply and emission are unchanged, and wallet keys and ordinary transaction privacy were not compromised. No funding amount, payment timetable, eligibility rules or claims process has been published. Users are advised to save transaction and trade records, update wallets, verify payment status on the recovered chain, and confirm services have migrated before sending funds. Payments already settled on other networks cannot be reversed. A post-mortem and further recovery guidance are pending.
