Across Protocol Team Accused of Moving $23M to Own Company
Founders of Across Protocol are accused of misappropriating $23 million to their for-profit company, Risk Labs, through manipulated DAO votes. Ogle, a pseudonymous founder, claims the project operates as a "DAO in name only," alleging governance proposals allowed insiders to extract funds from the treasury. Hart Lambur, co-founder of both companies, denies these allegations, asserting Risk Labs is a nonprofit with fiduciary obligations and shared incorporation documents. However, its nonprofit status is unverified, as it is not listed among registered nonprofits in the Cayman Islands. Ogle claims that key votes were influenced by Risk Labs team members, enabling funding proposals that would not have passed otherwise. Lambur contends that team members purchased tokens independently and voted publicly, labeling Ogle's claims as false and suggesting potential conflicts of interest due to Ogle's ties to competing projects.
