After suffering a brutal $265 million mass exit, seven different Bitcoin ETFs simultaneously roar back to life

Summary

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted a $170.1 million net inflow on Aug. 3, rebounding from a $265.4 million net outflow on July 31. Seven of the 12 listed funds took in money, while five were flat and none had outflows. BlackRock’s IBIT led with $111.4 million, about 65.5% of the total, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC at $33.4 million. Smaller inflows came from EZBC ($9.2 million), BTCO ($6.7 million), HODL ($4.5 million), BITB ($2.8 million), and ARKB ($2.1 million). The wider participation is a positive sign, but the flow remained highly concentrated in IBIT, so the rebound is not yet strong evidence of a durable recovery. On July 31, outflows were spread across five funds, led by IBIT, FBTC, and GBTC. On July 30, seven funds also had inflows, showing that breadth can return quickly but needs repetition across sessions to signal a sustained trend.
