Analyst Spots XRP Signal That Preceded Every Major Rally Since 2017

Summary

XRP is sitting near the lower boundary of a long-term ascending channel that has guided its price since 2017, while its monthly RSI has fallen to 42.7 — a historically depressed level seen only a few times before. In past instances when RSI reached similar lows in 2015, 2020, and 2022, XRP later staged major rallies. Those episodes were followed by moves to the 2017 cycle high, $1.97 in 2021, and $3.40 in early 2025, respectively. Current price action is weak, with XRP down more than 10% in June and recently trading around multi-month lows near $1.18. Still, the key bullish argument is that price remains above long-term channel support while momentum is already deeply oversold. If the pattern repeats, the next upside objective would be the channel’s upper resistance line.
