Anchorage expands institutional custody to Etherlink, tokenized uranium
Anchorage Digital Bank has added custody support for Etherlink assets, including xU3O8, a token backed by physical uranium, along with WXTZ, stXTZ, USDT, USDC, USDSM, and WETH. The service is available to institutional clients through segregated accounts at the federally chartered US crypto bank. Etherlink is an Ethereum-compatible layer-2 network that settles on Tezos. xU3O8 gives investors exposure to physical uranium without directly storing or handling it and currently has a market cap of just over $9 million. Anchorage said tokenization can simplify access to uranium, replacing specialist intermediaries, long settlement times, and high minimum investments with transfer and settlement in minutes. Hex Trust previously supported xU3O8 and other Etherlink assets.
