Summary

Anthropic will supply Claude AI models to firms in the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s second Supercharged Sandbox cohort, giving participants access to tools like Claude Code and Claude Cowork to test AI use cases in a controlled setting. The 21-member cohort includes Scottish Widows, Money Advice Trust, and TrueLayer. Use cases include agent-led payments, fraud detection, compliance automation, and AI governance. The FCA said it received 199 applications, up 51% from the first cohort, showing rising demand for regulated AI testing.
