Binance’s finance chief Kaiser Ng to leave company, report says
Summary
Binance CFO Kaiser Ng is reportedly leaving after more than five years at the company to pursue a new venture. Co-CEO Yi He said a transition plan had been underway for six months. Justin Yek, formerly Airwallex’s vice-president of finance, will replace him. The departure follows a reported $6.3 billion hack of Binance on Oct. 29, which the company said it would absorb without passing losses to customers. The FBI and researchers have attributed the theft to North Korean hackers; North Korea denies involvement.
