Bitcoin Miner Ionic Digital Hires CFO to Shepherd IPO

Bitcoin miner Ionic Digital has appointed John Penver as its new CFO to oversee its upcoming initial public offering (IPO). Penver, who has over 18 years of experience in data center technology and infrastructure, was previously the CFO of data center service provider TSS. Ionic Digital, which acquired all of bankrupt lender Celsius' mining assets, is led by Matt Prusak. The company plans to go public within the next 12 months and aims to achieve 12.7 exahash per second once its fleets are fully operational this year. The assets include about 87MW of self-mining capacity, 142MW of hosted bitcoin mining at third-party sites, and the Cedarvale site, which is under development to reach a capacity of 240MW.
