Bitcoin short-term holders hit 30-day profit streak as bull-market odds improve: CryptoQuant
Bitcoin’s short-term holders have been in profit for 30 straight days, a sign some analysts view as strengthening the case for a broader BTC recovery. CryptoQuant says this is the first sustained STH profit stretch since the market top; earlier profit periods in January were brief, while May remained loss-heavy. STHs are wallets holding coins for under six months, and their behavior often reflects short-term market sentiment. As of Tuesday, STH coins worth $168.2 billion were in profit versus $102.6 billion below cost. CryptoQuant says extended STH profitability has often appeared during Bitcoin recoveries and near the end of the 2022 bear market, and may be a prerequisite for a lasting uptrend. The newer investor cost bases are clustered above $70,000, with one- to three-month holders around $63,372 and three- to six-month holders around $73,190.
