BitFuFu’s October Bitcoin Mining Output Falls Despite Steady Hashrate
Summary
BitFuFu mined 137 BTC in October, down from 167 in September, while managed hashrate was nearly unchanged at 19.5 EH/s. The company attributed the decline partly to Bitcoin network difficulty rising 11.8%. Self-mining output fell to 67 BTC from 98, while cloud-mining output was almost flat at 70 BTC. Average fleet efficiency improved to 16.3 J/TH, but power capacity under management slipped to 317 MW. BitFuFu’s BTC holdings rose to 1,454, though treasury growth does not establish mining profitability. The report highlights that stable hashrate and improved efficiency do not guarantee steady production or resilient economics; further operating metrics will clarify whether October’s decline persists.
