Bitwise, Fidelity, BlackRock See Biggest Bitcoin ETF Inflow in Preliminary Tally
Bitwise's bitcoin ETF (BITB) had the largest cash inflow among 11 new products, followed by Fidelity's fund (FBTC). BITB received $238 million, while FBTC got $227 million. BlackRock's IBIT attracted $110 million. Spot bitcoin ETFs had a combined $4.6 billion daily trading volume, with Grayscale's GBTC and BlackRock's IBIT leading. ProShares' futures-based bitcoin ETF (BITO) had $570 million inflows on its first day in October 2021. BITO experienced outflows of 3,000 BTC worth roughly $140 million on Thursday. The debut of spot bitcoin ETFs was seen as a significant milestone for the digital asset industry, offering easier access for mainstream investors. Standard Chartered analysts forecasted $50 billion to $100 billion inflows for spot ETFs this year.
