Bybit secures first full Dubai license for spot trading services

Bybit’s Dubai entity, Bybit Fintech FZE, received an active VARA VASP license for exchange services, including spot trading, after previously holding only non-operational in-principle approval. The license covers retail, qualified and institutional investors, but Bybit must complete VARA’s launch process and operational requirements before serving customers; no launch date was announced. A separate federal SCA license issued to Bybit in October 2025 excludes Dubai from its service jurisdictions.
