Cysic dangles a 10% bounty, hacker pours loot into Tornado Cash

The wallet linked to the Cysic bridge exploit sent 300 ETH and 30.4 BNB, worth about $744,000, to Tornado Cash after the Cysic Foundation offered a 10% recovery bounty. The attacker had exploited a bridge vulnerability to mint 10 million CYS tokens on BNB Smart Chain. Cysic suspended the bridge and blacklisted the recipient address, freezing about 2.8 million tokens; the foundation said its mainnet and users’ existing assets were unaffected. It offered the attacker a 10% bounty for returning 275.872 ETH, about $665,000. The attacker’s Ethereum wallet held about $45 in ETH at press time.
