Cardano Leios Plan Makes Higher Throughput A Series Of Votes And Tests
Cardano’s Leios scaling roadmap proposes a staged rollout, beginning with a three-to-fivefold increase over current Praos throughput and later targeting ten to fifteen times the baseline. These are capacity goals, not guaranteed transaction counts or launch dates. The hard fork enables the changes, but capacity would rise only after constitutional guardrails, operator preparation, load testing and governance decisions. Published test results on hardware demands, network propagation and recovery will help determine whether further increases are safe. Key milestones include approved parameters, compatible software, registered operator keys and results from progressively demanding mainnet tests. Higher capacity alone does not ensure adoption; fees, useful applications and user experience will influence demand.
